PETG 3D Printing Filament Features

PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a thermoplastic polyester material that combines the ease of printing of PLA with the durability of ABS, while offering excellent transparency, toughness, and chemical resistance, making it one of the most popular general-purpose materials in the 3D printing field.
Excellent Mechanical Properties
Tensile strength up to 50MPa (XY direction), Young's modulus 2800MPa, flexural strength 76MPa, flexural modulus 1980MPa. Compared to PLA, PETG has better toughness and impact resistance, while maintaining good rigidity and strength, suitable for a variety of application scenarios.
Excellent Chemical Resistance
Excellent resistance to various chemicals, including oils, weak acids and alkalis, alcohols, etc. Compared to PLA and ABS, PETG performs more stably in chemical environments, suitable for chemical equipment, medical devices, and other scenarios.
Good Thermal Properties
Vicat softening temperature 69°C, heat deflection temperature (0.45MPa) 71°C, glass transition temperature 80°C. PETG's heat resistance is better than PLA, and it can maintain stable performance in higher temperature environments.
